There’s lots going on this month at the Unity Hubb, have a look at the activities we have planned below. The activities are all free, and once you are registered as a member you can drop in and have a go at anything you fancy.
Mondays
Try your hand at some crafty activities every Monday at the Hubb, based at St Margaret’s Church. There will knitting and crocheting on the 7th March, then Stitching workshops after that, from 12pm.

Tuesdays
Tuesdays are all about gentle exercise and relaxing. We have a walking group in the morning, chair yoga and reflexology sessions available. Pop along to the hub if you’re interested. If you are interested in reflexology, make sure you sign up early as spaces are limited, and bring a towel along with you.

Wednesdays
There’s plenty happening at the Hubb on Wednesdays – there are two Chai and Chat sessions, with the Men’s Group in the morning and the Women’s Group over lunchtime, so come down, grab a cup of tea and a chair and have a good natter! We also have Grow & Talk with Faith and a Girls Group, for 10-16 year olds, in the late afternoon.

Thursdays
If you want some help with looking for and landing a job we can help you at our Careers Café on a Thursday at the Hubb. Come along for support with you job search, writing your CV and interview techniques. There is also the Cook Together, Eat Together group from the 10th March, the B-Men Group every other week at Christchurch on Burney Lane, and a community lunch on the 17th.

Fridays
On 25th March we will be having our next Women in Conversation, a programme, created for women to engage in sensitive and liberating conversations, with other women of diverse faiths and cultural backgrounds. In a supportive environment woman reflect on their own thoughts and the view points of others, enabling them to have open and honest conversations with other women about themselves and the communities they come from. Women are able to explore through reflective practical exercises.

Saturdays
A great group for girls ages 10-16 to explore their creative side, play games and make friends. Plus breakfast is included! Our Saturday Girls Group is full at the moment, but there are still spaces on our Wednesday afternoon group. Please note there is no Girls Group on Saturday 19th March.
